This blog began with our journey to China when we received our adopted daughter and third child, Alexandra. The lady bug is the common symbol, or mascott for adopted Chinese daughters. The blog has since evolved into a journal of our trials, triumphs, joys and complete loss of sanity (that is often restored by copious amounts of chocolate or beer- taken only on an as needed basis, of course), as we embrace daily life with four beautiful little children.

Boys on stage....again

The boys were in a school play about the history of our town as part of a civics unit they've been studying.  Joe had one of the leads and was similar to a narrator.  He was in most scenes and did great remembering his lines.  Aaron had one long monologue and his character was a farmer.  Both boys took to the stage like an old shoe.  Given his past experience Aaron was really able to get into his part and capture his audience.  At the end of the show some parents had suggested to me things like, "Your boys should think about doing some acting."
.....Hmmmmmm.
All the students had a part in the play and were all very cute.  Again... growing, growing, growing up too fast.
