This blog began with our journey to China when we received our adopted daughter and third child, Alexandra. The lady bug is the common symbol, or mascott for adopted Chinese daughters. The blog has since evolved into a journal of our trials, triumphs, joys and complete loss of sanity (that is often restored by copious amounts of chocolate or beer- taken only on an as needed basis, of course), as we embrace daily life with four beautiful little children.

For Those Who Don't Know...

Baby Harrahy number 4- coming in mid-December...

I'll answer the obvious questions first. The pregnancy was not planned and was quite a surprise. We do not know if it's a boy or a girl. Aaron thinks it's a boy. Joe thinks it's a girl. Allie doesn't seem to care. So far all is going well and we are trying to get ready for the big change. We just added a room in our basement since it looks like we'll be needing some more space! Guess there will be a few more pictures to post here! I will plan on resuming my career when the kids get a little bit older. For now it is occasional teaching/tutoring. Sometimes life takes you in a new and unexpected direction and you gotta hang on for the ride!
