This blog began with our journey to China when we received our adopted daughter and third child, Alexandra. The lady bug is the common symbol, or mascott for adopted Chinese daughters. The blog has since evolved into a journal of our trials, triumphs, joys and complete loss of sanity (that is often restored by copious amounts of chocolate or beer- taken only on an as needed basis, of course), as we embrace daily life with four beautiful little children.

Back on Stage

Both boys in the opening scene called 'A Poultry Tale'. Joe left, Aaron right

Joe (right) is "Beaky", looking at his mother "Ida" while they ponder the unusually large egg still left to hatch in the nest

Joe left center, Aaron right center- receive their "floats" for "swim lessons" as newly hatched ducklings

Aaron (far right), a "froglet" in this scene tap dances in flippers

The boys did a great job performing in Honk! Jr., the musical this weekend for their theater class. Both boys had a handful of lines and were in several scenes. They really seemed to enjoy it. The play is based on the story of the Ugly Duckling and the performance was very cute. Here are a few shots from some of their best moments!
