This blog began with our journey to China when we received our adopted daughter and third child, Alexandra. The lady bug is the common symbol, or mascott for adopted Chinese daughters. The blog has since evolved into a journal of our trials, triumphs, joys and complete loss of sanity (that is often restored by copious amounts of chocolate or beer- taken only on an as needed basis, of course), as we embrace daily life with four beautiful little children.

Small Successes

FaithButton
1. Signed up three kids for fall soccer

2. Clipped all 4 kids' finger and toe nails (that's 80 clips and it was no small success!)

3. Put down a new vinyl floor in the kid's bathroom- A project I've been trying to get to for the last year and a half. We hired a babysitter on mother's day and went to work!
