This blog began with our journey to China when we received our adopted daughter and third child, Alexandra. The lady bug is the common symbol, or mascott for adopted Chinese daughters. The blog has since evolved into a journal of our trials, triumphs, joys and complete loss of sanity (that is often restored by copious amounts of chocolate or beer- taken only on an as needed basis, of course), as we embrace daily life with four beautiful little children.

Here are a few more pictures worth sharing of Danielle and Brad's wedding. Despite our traveling shenanigans (see below), it was well worth it to see the joy on the faces of this couple! For me, it was an honor to stand up with Danielle and a treasure to see my family again. I cherished each of the five minute conversations I held with my cousins. (Frank, John and Tamm, Louis, Lindsay... boy, I've missed you guys)! My only regret (besides the whole Texas thing)... it went by too fast.
